Renovation Information
The Fontainbleau Hilton Resort will be renovating their Normandie building and turning it into a Condominium Hotel. This building is located on the extreme south end of the 20 acre resort, approximately 1-1/2 blocks from the next closest building within the resort. Work will begin in late August 2002 and the estimated completion is April 2005. Work will be done Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.

In early September 2002, they will begin tearing down the front walls of the Normadie building using a backhoe. The work will be screened off to guests using a chain link fence. They will be installing an 8 foot temporary wall to further enclose the work area. There may some disruption due to noise but because of the distance between the buildings, guest inconvenience is expected to be minimal.

During the entire renovation time period, the inventory in this building will not be utilized. Guests will be placed in either the Chateau or Versailles building. These buildings are closest to restaurants, lounges, and other property amenities. Spa services will still be available and the Fitness Center will be relocated to the lower level of the Chateau building. Tennis will be temporarily closed on property, however, arrangements have been made with nearby facilities. All other resort amenities will be unaffected by the renovation work.
