The
ATV tours on the Big Island are among the most adventurous of the
outdoor activities available in Hawaii. The Big Island is the original
site of the very first 4 wheel ATV tours in the state, and that’s not by
accident. The original company, ATV Outfitters, has an assortment of ATV
four wheel options which include the jungle and mountains of the Kohala
Mountains above the town of Hawi, incredible ocean cliffs, and
spectacular waterfalls.

Historical Ocean Cliff Trail
1 1/2 hour tour. See the hidden Hawaii on All-Terrain vehicles.
Cruise towering ocean cliffs before touching the ocean at a remote
private pebbled beach. Your guides will explain the culture and rich
history of the area throughout your adventure.
15 Mile Waterfall Adventure
Traverse through brisk mountain streams; enter a rainforest filled
with native Hawaiian trees and canopies of ferns and flowers before
discovering a private secluded waterfall. Your guide will paint a
historical picture of the rich culture in the area. A visual rush of
panoramic collages makes this a driving experience to remember.

Fully automatic and easy to operate QUADS and the

"Scenery Machinery" Children between the ages of 5 and
15 (or those preferring not to drive) are able to participate
as passengers on this specially equipped vehicle that is
driven by professionally trained guides, on availability only
- up to 4 passengers.
Guest should be aware of short hike to the waterfall.
NO Pregnant women as well as those who have had recent
surgery or have back problems. This is a safety issue.

All riders must be at least 16 years old and weigh at least 90
but no more than 325 lbs. Under 18 years old must be
accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Long pants and close toed shoes are MANDATORY.
There is a limited shoe/clothes rental for $5.00.
Helmets, goggles and gloves provided.
Fruit juice, ice tea, and bottled water are included.
RULES: All riders must pass the safety course. Tours
are incredibly scenic and historical, this is NOT a
wild ride. |

30 Mile All Day Adventure
Ride from the mountain to the sea. Visit several waterfalls,
ride into the rainforest and enjoy a light gourmet lunch at a
spot called "the top of the world". The views are spectacular.
After lunch head to a favorite cool mountain pool for a swim if
you want. From there ride all the way to the ocean to one of
King Kamehameha's favorite surf spots. This is a wonderful way
to spend your day in Hawaii.
NOTES: There is some hiking involved.
72 hour advanced reservations and a minimum of 6 people to go.
LUNCH ORDER: Chicken, Vegetarian or Pork wraps.

ATV Range Rides, daily 9:00am & 1:00pm. Must be 16 to
operate an ATV - 300lbs max weight. Younger children or just
passengers on the 6 Wheeler is available for $25.00 per person.
Experience the Kohala Mountains, ride the range with comfort and
speed, as you explore Kahua Ranch (8,500 acres) on all terrain
vehicles. From spectacular rainforest, pastures to rolling
desert pasture, the ATV range ride offers a modern approach to
experiencing an age old tradition of "saddling up and riding the
range" Paniolo style. Specific routes are selected based on the
skill level of the group.
Weather conditions may vary. It is recommended that you dress in
layers, long pants and close toed shoes. Safety helmet and
protective eye wear are provided.
