Oahu Dolphin Watches
The
phrases - dolphin watch - dolphin adventures - spinner dolphins and
swim with the dolphins' are exciting.
Oahu is the place for your dolphin eco-adventures and eco tours. Oahu
activities are known throughout the islands but a very little known
fact is that Oahu is the best and most consistent place to view the
dolphins.
The Wai'anae coast off leeward Oahu is arguably the very best spot to
view dolphins in Hawaii. Hundreds of spinner dolphins are located just
moments from the harbor and trained professionals are there to
introduce you to the dolphin environment.
A remarkable 95% of the time these "dolphin watches" depart they are
successful in finding the dolphins but what is even more remarkable is
that 80% of those times you are able to experience swimming and
snorkeling with the dolphins. These dolphin eco adventures are the
best kept secret on Oahu.
Almost everyone we send out to experience the dolphins on Oahu comes
back with great stories to tell and fantastic photos of incredible
spinner dolphins to share with family and friends. Many companies also
provide hydrophones so you can listen in on the dolphins communicating
with each other. Pick-up for these dolphin adventures are offered from
Oahu's Waikiki hotels on some of the dolphin watches.
Swimming with the dolphins is an event that is certain to make your
day if not your entire vacation. Of all the Oahu activities, these
dolphin watch, eco adventures are the ones you should book first. |

forgot. Experience miles of uninhabited beaches, the most extensive
coral systems in the state and pristine areas far off the beaten path.

thrives here and to promote overall health and wellness.
Proceeds from these "soft adventures" enable conservation actions to
keep the animals environment safe from pollution and unsustained
development, and enable school children to have hands-on experience in
the aquatic ecosystem.
Passenger friendly with lots of seating fore (two trampolines), aft,
and inside. Easy access cabin is spacious, has 6' 4" headroom and is
laid out for comfort with plenty of shade. There is a queen size berth

DOLPHIN ENCOUNTER 4 HOURS.
Imagine a pod of dolphins as your private traveling companion
sailing the ocean blue. The wild spinner dolphins here call this
remote area home. You will discover that Hawaiian spinner dolphins
are unique in many delightful ways. |
Hawaiian spinner dolphins are nocturnal, so we are essentially
entering (or peacefully watching from nearby) their "bedroom." The
most acrobatic of all dolphins, the spinner dolphins may be be
courting, communicating, resting, socializing, nursing or teaching
their young. You are invited to participate while data for population
studies are opportunistically gained during this time. This
information helps us to learn about and protect these dolphins that
are nature's best, wild and free. Or, feel free to breathlessly view
their magical and captivating displays of sheer joy and exuberance,
undisturbed.
Our onboard hydrophone furthers your exploration into the dolphins
underwater lives as you hear their whistles, calls, squawks and click
trains. It is not uncommon (but rather seasonal) to see bottlenose or
spotted dolphins, pilot whales and false killer whales on our coast.
