What are the taxi rates ?
From the airport or dock (East Coast) to the Beachcomber Intercontinental hotel (West Coast) you can expect to pay about $30 each way. Evening rates can be double the day rate.

Le Truck
Efficient and affordable but more importantly, it's a "user friendly" form of transportation. Le trucks are decorated whimsically in whatever fashion the driver fancies. Although there are pre-determined pick-up locations, Prices are approx.120 CFP (roughly US $1.00) and a bit more in the PM.

How much is gasoline ?
All gasoline is imported and heavily taxed. A gallon of unleaded costs about $4.50.
